(More customer reviews)It is not rubber. It doesn't even have a "rubber touch." It is a hard, plastic, snap-on case in which you remove the back of your phone and pop the new one on. The top piece snaps on top of the phone (without removing anything). I was hoping for something more rubberized to absorb shock. I can't imagine that a pretty, pink plastic case is going to a better job than the original one.
I also found it extremely difficult to put the top on. My husband had to do it, and it took him several minutes. It is also VERY hard to slide the phone open. I don't think I'll keep this long. Only as long as it takes to find a better one.
I must say that I do like the hot pink color. Too bad the fit is just not right for me or my phone.
